Dear LWV-WV Members,
Last month the LWV-US sent out a call to action asking members to
contact their US Representatives and urge their support for the Voting
Rights Advancement Act (HR 4). HR 4 will be voted on by the full House
Thursday or Friday of this week. This legislation will restore the
protections of the Voting Rights Act (VRA) that were struck down by the
US Supreme Court in the _Shelby v. Holder_ decision. If you haven't
