I agree that the sheer quantity of particulate increase is troubling, especially in that location, but I would also want to know more about the content of that particulate. Mylan is dealing with some exotic stuff over there. I find it hard to believe they are sending much of their special chemicals up the stack, but even a little of that can go a long way when it comes to all sorts of reactions - especially in the young and elderly. Asthma could be just one result - and perhaps not the most serious.
As Karen pointed out, given the quantity and the location, this should be given a lot of attention.
Is Mylan the "dirty, not-so-little-any-longer secret of North Hills"?
Very interesting to see how the public officials deal with the goose that lays the golden egg.
