I was at the Bookshelf this afternoon and Jim told me they will be closing around New Year's day. The rent is beyond his means and he doesn't have other locations that woud be viable that he can afford. "We need a rich person who will buy the old Save a Lot in Westover to convert into a large bookstore and cafe!" he suggested. He bought a lottery ticket for the multimillion jackpot...did you? in any case, go buy some books since all the books, even new ones, are 50% off!
