Please find the document of Wallace Venable in protest of the Longview plan to truck coal from the Cumberland mine (Greene Co., PA) from river barges up the Ft. Martin hill. The estimate is 314 diesel trucks per work day. The main concerns are air pollution, noise and traffic flow. The public comment period closes on December 3rd.

URGENT: Please know that Longview Power is proposing to change its coal source and coal delivery approach. This is creating a number of issues of public concern. Let me propose a meeting of the MVCAC for Monday, November 13th, at 6 pm to be held at the Eat N Park on Patterson Drive.
