UPDATE: HB 4433 has passed out of committee and will likely be up for a vote in the full House of Delegates on Monday, 1/26. While this bill has been improved through the committee and amendment process, it continues to equate assisting an undocumented immigrant with human smuggling. LWVWV urges West Virginia lawmakers to focus on bills that address critical West Virginia needs. We have so many.

Anti-immigrant bills serve a political agenda, not West Virginians.
