Hi,
Positive Spin will be closed this Tuesday, October 4. The last time we
were closed was Thanksgiving week 2021, and the last time we sent out an
email to this list was November 19, 2021 .. talking about a low traffic
email list! We will be open again on the 11th from 5pm - 10pm.
However, opened or closed, you can now shop for a refurbished bike
anytime at the Spin. This Spring we implemented a new inventory system
application. Historically, we had a showroom in which people could walk
around to browse, however, it was a confusing system with many issues,
which included putting constraints on our storage capacity. Since
implementing the new inventory system, the showroom has become a
warehouse. You can still enter the facility to look for parts (masks
required), but bike browsing is now handled electronically.
We encourage you to conveniently begin your shopping experience before
visiting, simply by emailing info(a)positivespin.org or messaging us at
https://facebook.com/positivespinwv .
Here is what we need to know from you or other people you are
representing:
* What type of bike are you looking for or what application
(commuting, hybrid, rail trail, mountain biking, etc.) do you want to
use the bike for.
* What is your height and/or leg length (inseam) measured from the
floor standing up without wearing shoes to the location where you would
be sitting. Check out https://bikesizechart.com/ for alternative
instructions.
* Kids bikes can be sized by age/height/inseam
* BMX bikes can only be sized by height
* All other types of bikes are sized by height and/or inseam
After we receive your inquiry, we will get back to you with matching
bikes looking for new homes, then you can come visit the bikes at the
shop on our Tuesday openings.
