Sunday fundraiser @ noon

POSITIVE SPIN, MORGANTOWN'S NON-PROFIT BICYCLE COLLECTIVE, IS HOLDING AN IMPORTANT FUNDRAISER (BIKE SALE) THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 3, BEGINNING AT NOON. PURPOSE: To help cover some of our relocation expenses, and to recoup some of our lost funding sustained while we were closed during February. LOCATION: 195 DON KNOTTS BLVD [1]. Our old location next to the MUB Water Treatment Plant. WHEN: Noon. The event will run either until all bikes are purchased, or until 6pm, whichever comes first. BIKE SALE: There are over 60 bikes, all priced at $20 / each. They include about 30 kids bikes in good to excellent condition, and about 30 adult bikes in varying condition from fair to excellent. Monetary donations at the fundraiser are appreciated, too. Moving help wanted Monday @ 5pm

On Monday we will be moving our large furniture - free-standing shelves, toolboxes, etc. McDaniel Towing, who has been so helpful over the years with our larger moving projects (including our 2017 relocation), will be providing a flatbed. Lease signed - relocating very soon

Yesterday, we signed a lease at our new location, 1216 University Avenue, previously known as Fitness Plus Tae Kwon Do. The most traveled corner in Morgantown, some of our immediate neighbors include Salvation Army, Furnishings For You, 123 Pleasant Street, Black Bear Burritos, Mountain People's Coop, Apothecary Ale House & Cafe and the Morgantown Brewing Company. Easily accessible by the railtrail, PRT, Bus Line, and close-by parking garages, including our own spaces, and a nearby loading dock, and most importantly very bikeable and a walker's paradise [1]. Yay, we are finally part of Main Street Morgantown! Yes, we are excited! We hope to be open by early March.
