LWVWV Briefing on Federal Judiciary Study Feb. 11; LWVUS Study Committee Town Hall Feb. 4

During the 2024 LWVUS Convention, delegates voted to conduct a one-year study on the Federal Judiciary to arrive at a Position.  This effort is ongoing and the process will yield a new position by June 2025. On Febuary 11 at 7 pm ET, the LWVWV will host a meeting to brief members on the Federal Judiciary Study Process in advance of the state consensus meeting scheduled for March 15, 2025. Both the briefing and the consensus meeting will be held via Zoom. Click here to register for the briefing

Prior to the briefing the LWVUS Federal Judiciary Study Committee will hold a town hall on February 4 at 7pm ET with leading experts, including speakers from the Brennan Center, the CATO Institute, and NGV LLC. This town hall is an opportunity for League members to pose questions and get more information about the federal judiciary study. The link to attend the town hall is now availablePlease note that this is a direct link to the event.
