Thanks also for keeping us on topic and for driving to a consensus. Bicycle Board Members, Chris Fletcher contacted me today to schedule for July 14, the workshop that the BB will conduct with the Planning Commission on bicycle parking and storage. I originally only copied the BB Parking Committee on the message at the bottom of this thread. Only Chip responded. While he provided valuable input, he did not volunteer to take the lead on this. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO LEAD OR PARTICIPATE IN THIS WORKSHOP, PLEASE REPLY ASAP, If someone doesn't step up by Friday to lead this, I will tell Chris then that it ain't gonna happen. He has already discussed this with the Planning Commission and they want to do it. They are also willing to make it the second part of their July 14 meeting which begins at 6:30 pm. The workshop would tentatively begin at 7:30 pm and would best be kept short: say 30 minutes to an hour. bike lane

Bicycle Board Members, Does anybody know of any WV bike lanes that were funded by the State? As you know, one reason the Mon Blvd. climbing lane is stalled is that the City doesn't have funding for it. In my opinion, the WVDOH snookered the City into even discussing funding it. Since Mon Blvd. is a State highway, the State should be funding it. If we can show them that they've funded bike lanes elsewhere in the state, we'd have a basis to argue that they should fund this one. Frank
